Why support RoadPeace?
“On Mother’s Day I was told my husband had been fatally injured in a road crash and would never regain consciousness. So I would never have the chance to tell him how much I loved him or say goodbye. I felt alone, desperate… The questions of what happened, the rollercoaster of emotions, the flashbacks and the nightmares all became part of my life – if ever you can call it that. It’s more just an existence.
Then I went to RoadPeace - it has given me back control over all these things and has given me the ‘tools’ to turn the horror of it all in to memories so I can start to deal with the memories of that day…
Small steps maybe, but they’re my steps and I can decide when I want to take them. Please, support RoadPeace.”

The aftermath of a road crash can be devastating. At RoadPeace we understand that talking to someone who has been there can provide a lifeline. We help bereaved relatives cope with the trauma of a road death through our helpline, befriender network, Resilience trauma support programme and our local group network.
Please help us to help others by making a donation to support our work. Your gift will ensure that RoadPeace continues to support bereaved families when they need it most.
